Jimmy's Pizza & Pasta

My husband and I went there for a date this past weekend. We are locals to Malta and haven’t had a chance to stop in until now. I’m giving 2 stars because the pizza was decent. Not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst. However, the pasta was basically inedible. Idk why the linguini was cut up like baby food, but that’s exactly what I felt like I was eating- baby food. It was extremely over cooked. The chicken was also so odd in the pasta, it was cut up breaded chicken strips that was mixed in with the pasta. If you’re going to use breaded chicken in pasta, you should slice it and put it on top so that it’s not soggy and then the customer can mix it into their sauce as they eat it. When you mix it into the sauce like that, it gets soggy and gross. Also, the server seemed like she was annoyed we were there even though we were the only people sitting at a table.

A picture is worth a 1000 words here's 3000. This will be the absolute last time we give you our business. The handful of times I have gone to Jimmy's the experience seems to only get worse. Even though we are usually the only customers there the waitresses always seem bothered. It takes forever to get waited on. The last time we were here we ordered a extra cheese pizza and they gave us pepperoni and Even though it was their mistake, they still charged me. We thought we would give them another chance but The experience only got worse. We ordered a half pepperoni and half cheese and it was beyond burnt. They made us another one that also tastes burnt because they do not clean out their ovens. When the waitress brought it over she didn't say a single word to us. Just put it down and handed me a plate. No I'm sorry about the burnt pizza we tried to pass off on you, nothing. It barely had any cheese on it and was drowning in grease. The waitress never came over to see how we were or if we needed anything, and the waitress said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to us as I paid to leave. No how was everything, have a good day no thank you for your business, NOTHING. It was the only time in my life I didn't leave a tip and I still feel bad about it. Customer service is everything. If you don't have good customer service you will have no customers. No wonder the place is always empty.

visited DMB SPAC in mid July. late night all others were closed in Alta. we got a amazing pizza, the best bucket of marinara I have ever tasted outside of it Italy. for a crazy low cost . thanks for the amazing pizza! a few slides made it to Colorado and Kansas! it was THAT good. ps. the market,liquor store, and bagel shot next door were exceptional as well. but the pizza. omg dont hesitate.

This is the 2nd time in a row that our order was incorrect, the 1st time we let it slide. This time I called to at least get my money back on what I ordered, but wasn’t provided. I called Jimmy’s to inquire on how to order a buffalo chicken pizza, with one of their very polite female employees, she assured me I was ordering it properly & asked me to put our level of spice in the comments section, which I did, as well as requesting ranch on the side (I completely expected to pay for that additional request) When I arrived home and opened up the pizza only 1/2 had the chicken & the other 1/2 was plain cheese. I called to make the shop aware of the mistake & hopefully get a little money back since I paid for chicken on the whole thing. The young man that answered the phone argued with me & told me that I didn’t order the right way. Meanwhile I informed him 3 times that I was on the phone with an employee of the restaurant when I was ordering on line, he continued to argue & speak disrespectfully to me until I finally told him I’d never be ordering from Jimmy’s again! There are SO many other pizza options in Malta, this place has been fully crossed off the list.

I really can’t rate the food as we canceled the order. Ordered 5pm and was told an hour. Okay no biggie. But 615 comes and no food so we call and are told it’s leaving now. Not exactly happy but okay hopefully it’s good. But at 640 and still no food we call and complain about the delay and that if food left 25 minutes ago it is now stone cold and we don’t want it. The manager/owner would not talk to us made a teenage girl deal with us. This is about the worst service I have ever received. Will not be trying this establishment again. 650 food arrived and I has to tell delivery boy we are not accepting as it left 25 minutes ago and is probably cold. Awful experience.
